If you want to practice dentistry in the UK, you must complete a five-year dental degree approved by the General Council of Dentistry. This degree can be obtained through a four-year Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) course if you already have a relevant degree, such as biomedical sciences. If you have graduated outside the UK, you must check the registration process for qualifications awarded in the European Union, the European Economic Area, and other foreign institutions. Most students take the second step, which is to obtain a master's degree and prepare for the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE). This training lasts for one year and even dentists from universities in the UK must do this training if they want to work in the NHS.
This is the only place where you can get up-to-date information on migrating to the UK and working as a dentist.
